Well first off I would like to note that the 2 previous poor reviews were from people who don't own and did not buy this bike. One does not like Schwinn (does not own bike) and the other was complaining about the lack of info in the ad, and then stated he wouldn't buy it anyway (does not own bike). Well, I don't give either review any weight.

I could find little info on this bike via the web. I was worried about the size as I need a taller bike being 6'1.5" with a 34" inseam. I don't have a money tree so I couldn't spend a lot on a bike. I was tempted to buy the GMC Denali. I went to WalMart and looked at one and found that it looked good and was a very reasonable price. I compared it to the Schwinn Varsity and found the the Schwinn looked to be a better quality but was a bit small for me. When I saw the Phocus I couldn't find a size anywhere. The Shifter in located in the middle it is kinda weird..Since the distance between the break and gear shifter is kinda far apart...With slow reaction serious injury and accident can happen.
Dangerous? Maybe I don't know.
I am 5'8 and I feel like this bike is a bit tall for me.. I think it would fit people around 6'0 better??
The Color of the bike is really nice, Black & Yellow.

This is the type of, ahem, 'road bike', that you see in Target & Walmart. It's not a real road bike. No frame sizes, no real shifters... don't waste your money on this junk. It's sad what Doral Industries has done to Schwinn.... Schwinn no longer makes real bikes... Since Doral also owns Cannondale & GT, I hope these don't start popping up at Costco & Target!
